One Pub, Two Great Bars...

Situated in the heart of Low Fell, The Gateshead Arms is a character packed pub with a rich 180-year history.

Over the decades the pub has undergone many transformations. Following a recent 300k refit we now have two great bars to choose from, one indoors and one outdoors!

Our stylish, beautifully designed lounge bar offers a fantastic range of spirits, wines and beers – all served by friendly staff in a chic, warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The Rum Shack is our fabulous, outdoor terrace bar; carribbean themed with a terrific vibe - there's no better place to party!

    Whether it's an afternoon soiree, after work get together, relaxing coffee, or a big night out, we have something for everyone.

    Gin Counter, Fizz Bar, craft ales, traditional & signature cocktails, whatever your tipple, we can provide it. Short, long, straight-up, by-the-glass or by-the-bottle… we have it all.

    And if you're a non-drinker we have a great range of low and no-alcohol beers and ciders, both on draught and off the shelf, as well as a wide range of soft drinks.
